Who is the author? (Q.1)
Section 1- Notes
-Look for a tilde (~) so you know if the website is not official.
-Look for information on the author.
-You can usually find information on the author on the about us page.
-Look at the part of the websites address that comes after the dot.
-Not all .edu or .gov websites have accurate information.
Section 2-Definitions
-Information-Knowledge being given through other sources.
-Organization-A group of people working for the same cause.
-Government-A group of people who work for a country.
-University-post-secondary school
-Official-made permanent.
-Expert- somebody who had a lot of knowledge on a subject.
Section 3-Paragraph
Dollars and sense is the accurate website because it is not trying
to sell anything and has no advertising. The information ondollars
and sense is more recent and the website also has a
contact us link. The money tree website is trying to selltrees
that grow money, while dollars and sense is talkingabout
money and giving information and facts about it. The money
tree website is about an unrealistic tree that grows money and
has no information about money, while the dollar and sense
website does.

-See if anyone else gives the same information, if you are not sure about it.
-People and places you trust are more likely to have accurate information on their websites.
-Check other sources.
-Check other websites to see if there is a repetition of information, this means it is
more accurate.

-Accurate- Correct.
-Reference- A list of sources.
Section 3-Paragraph
The national geographic website is the accurate website because it
was published more recently as in the other website was published in 2000.
The national geographic website was also written by people who
have a greater knowledge about animals, get paid for collecting
accurate information on animals, and are not elementary school students.

-If there is a .com at the end of a website it means it is being used for commercial.
-If you are reading some body's point of view it probably isn’t very accurate.
-Look for an advertising logo.
-Check if they are trying to sell you something , if they are it probably is not very reliable.
-Look for a catolog with prices

-Commercial- Advertisement for a product.
- Advertising- A way of trying to make people buy a product.
-Catalog-A book or magazine with prices of products in it.
-Viewpoint-An individual way of thinking of something.

JPL is the accurate website because it isn’t advertising
and the updates are recently done, while in NASTA the last
updates were in 2004. NASTA is a website scamming people
into buying something. JPL gives information and facts on space
and space shuttles, but NASTA is more of a commercial
website than one that gives out information.

-Check at the bottom of the website to see when the website was last updated.
-If you are looking for information on history ,then checking an older website may be better.
-If you want to know something about animals or numbers then check a more recently
updated website.
-If you get error messages when you click on a link it means the website is probably old.
-if a link doesn't activate properly it also means that the site is old.

In my opinion both websites are inaccurate because both
websites were published 10-15 years ago. Although compensation and working
conditions’ website has a lot more information, the information and surveys
were conducted in 2002, which was 10 years ago. The kids allowance website
was published in 1990, which makes the other website a bit more
accurate.
