The drugs and smoking unit has taught me that there are actually lots
of different types of side effects and diseases that come with a cigarette. From my perspective cigarette company's should be demolished because there not helping anybody live healthier longer lives. Overall i learned that i should never try smoking or drugs.

Imagine having to say goodbye to someone you love. Imagine you are never going to see them again. Write a 250-500 word letter to that person, telling them how much you care for them and how much you are going to miss them. Dear Leo, We play, we walk, and we watch t.v together. We do a lot together so that's why its hard for me to say goodbye. I am going to miss you terribly. I am going to miss it when you and me play sports together, when we chase birds away, and when we have water wars with me and my sisters in the summer time. Your birthday is coming up and i hope i won't have to miss it. especially the peanut butter "cake". When i leave i hope you get over your fear of my cat. If you didn't bother her so much she might take a chance and actually not scratch you every time you go up to her. I know that you like me better than my sisters, but you should get to know them. They have some of the same interests as me. You don't smile much and you should work on your pronunciation when i am gone. You have beautiful jet black hair, and bright hazel eyes that i will only get to see in pictures. I wish you could comprehend how much i will miss you, but you can't. The only thing i can do know is look at the positives, the memories. I remember when you came up to jump on the trampoline and fell off, which is funny now. I remember when the first time i met you i accidently hit you on the head. I make the worst first impressions. but so do you because after that you threw up on my shoes. But what do you expect you are a car sick dog.You are the first dog i have ever owned and that makes all the more sad leaving. Overall i hope i made a good last impression because now is the time i have to say "Goodbye". I and my group did a project on Chlamydia and i learned that Chlamydia indeed is a disease. Before the project i had no idea on how many diseases people could be infected by. The project and unit have taught me that most people don't think before they do something big, and that less and less people run off to do dumb things at younger and younger ages. Overall i learned that people should try not to grow up so fast.
Eating disorders are a physiological disease also because they it makes you think that you are "fat" even though you may be healthy. Eating disorders lead to bad figur, brittle bones, bad teeth(bulimia) ,etc. Nobody likes an overly skinny figure.
In this unit i learned that we all come in different shapes and sizes.
And that many people care about their personal apperances more than safety, family, etc. sometimes. People should care about things that matter more but of coarse everybody does care about how they look because of the image gap. In an age when we have so much information at our disposal, why do we still make choices based on advertising and marketing? (Think back to the advertising unit about body image)
-We make choices based on what we see in advertisements and marketing because we don't want to dig deeper into the nutritional values. How does society dictate our consumption? (Make a lot of money, buy BIG CAR, BIG HOUSE, MORE MORE MORE) -Because if you have more it makes it l=gives you a status of being rich and that will get you "famous".Why are they repeatedly comparing cigarette smokers and overweight people? (Important Connection)-Because being overweight contributes to getting liver and heart failure like smokers. Do you believe that people can have food addictions? Why or why not? (This Question Connects to previous question) -Yes because when they start eating they like they won't stop. If someone is depressed they will eat eventually getting addicted. But they can quit eating bad food. In March 2004, Congress passed a bill that would make it illegal for people to sue food companies for making them obese. What was that bill called? -The "cheeseburger bill". When I am older I am going to be a famous artist. To accomplish this I will go to the school UBC and get my doctoring degree as a plan B and then at the same time I will also study art and get an art degree from Emily Carr School of art. I plan on getting married to somebody and have 2 kids. I don’t know what I am going to name them. I will live in a huge mansion with a backyard zoo, 10 trampolines, and a big slide. It will be built in the middle of a 3 acre lot. Each room will have a huge TV in it, there will be a pool in the living room, and all of the furniture will be bright red. Harveen Uppal will come over every day, if she can. I will drive a bright red Lamborghini with white interior. My favorite vacation spots will be California, Williams Lake, Florida, and Alaska. I have never been to Florida and Alaska but it seems like beautiful place. I will live here in Surrey because I know how to get around town and if I move I will have to learn how to get around all over again in a new place. I will have a black horse named black beauty and she will live inside the house with my dog and cat. I am going to keep my cat for ever and ever and she is never going to die when she is in good hands like mine, and same with my dog.I will take such good care of my animals that they would never get sick. They all would have separate room to stay in. As a Famous Artists I would like to get 1 million dollars for each painting. In a year that would be like a billion dollars and that’s how I can afford my mansion. When all this happens I would like to be 27 years old. Because I would like to keep doing what I am doing until I retire from my job which will be a long way ahead. 1. What are three challenges that face Michael Oher in the course of the film?

Although cberbullying can't physicallly hurt you it can physcolagically hurt you which could hurt you just as much. People shouldn't get too offended by what people might say about them over the internet but people shouldn't take it lightly either. If cyberbulling didn't exist the world might be a more friendly place.
The underground railroad was an event in the past of racism. Africans where used as slaves because of the color of their skin. The undergorund railroad was a risky thing for africans to do because it could of gotten them killed if their slave owner found them. Because of the underground railroad, stereotypes had developed about africans and they stil curculate today. Overall The undergorund rairoad helped africans escape slavery.
