Evaluating Web Pages: Techniques to Apply & Questions to Ask
-Personal pages are not always bad, but you need to check the author carefully.
-Check if the website is appropriate.
-Check if the website is plagiarized.
-Find out what other web pages link to this page.
-think about all you have learned about the page.
-Think about the "tone" of the page.
-It is easy to be fooled.
-take the time to check it out.
Evaluating website content
-Make sure you know when the website was published.
-Check the punctuation and make sure it is correct.
-Make sure there is bibliography.
-Check for who is responsible for the website.
-Check for web content that is repeated in other sources
-Check if the pictures on the website are appropriate.
-Make sure you now when the website was created.
-Make sure you know when the content on the website was last updated.

-If there are lot of ads the website was probably made just for commercial.
-Sometimes the is no good website.
-Make sure you know who made the website.
-Look for a “last updated” date at the top or bottom of a website.
-If the information on the website is unclear it is probably not accurate.
-Make sure the information is easy to find.
-If the website says proofread it probably doest have any mistakes.
